The SEED training sessions came to an end on April 13th with the last CPC Pilot Driver Workshop held in Belgrade. The Serbian partner, CCIS-ATT, hosted the last training session from 8 to 12 April 2017 in the wake of AMERIT (FYR of Macedonia), COB (Bosnia-Herzegovina), POU (Croatia) and TEMPULLI (Kosovo). All of the CPC Pilot Driver Workshopswere very well organized and everything went smoothly. The whole 35-hour CPC Driverprogramme has been delivered according to schedule in full compliance with EU directive 2003/59/EC. Various training materials were used throughout the 5-day training: SEED slides, digital tachograph, accident reports, transport documents, IRU check-lists, a fake load, safety equipment, SEED videos and other footages, drivers’ guidebooks, securing devices.
Various training methods were also implemented: questioning, lecturing, demonstrating, practical exercises, role play.
The CPC Driver training sessions were all performed by professional instructors with a perfect command of the subjects delivered. They all knew how to capture and hold the driver-participants’ attention, thus facilitating group learning. The course outlines, modules and chapters were introduced in a clear way, objectives were always stated. They asked questions, reformulated remarks, summarized key points and always encouraged discussion and interaction within the group. The driver-participants showed interest in the programme, some of them attend the CPC Driver for the first time. The good scores of the MCQ test taken at the end of the programme show the progress they have made. It also testifies to an optimal CPC Driver training delivery.Representatives from the Road Traffic Safety Agency (RTSA) – the state agency in charge of the CPC Driver in Serbia – attended the training on Day 4. They had the opportunity to observe CCIS-ATT high quality training standards and CCIS-ATT full compliance with ECMT Quality Charter as implemented thoughout the 5-day CPC Pilot Driver Workshop.
