The project upgrades its objectives by providing safe space for the students to run Virtual Social Enterprises.

This component follows all stages: throughout the project the students create and run Virtual Student Companies. The common goal of the established entities is either imagined CSR Practice of the private entity or establishing a Social Enterprise which itself has strong social motif. Here are the Virtual Student Companies created under S.E.E.D Project:

"EAT TO MEET”

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Establishes by: David Ristov, Lejla Redžaj, Fani Šafar, Lora Birtić, Matija Markovski, David Glažar, Nika Rožmarić, Tonka Bogović, Natalija Vukelić, Karlo Vuković, Ema Sveško.

Mission: Our mission and the main goal is to help people in need. We want to help everyone that doesn't have enough money to live a good life. A restaurant that we want to open will offer people a warm meal for free. In the restaurant, we want to hire anybody who is down for that. Some of our participants will learn that people do stuff like cleaning the kitchen, washing the dishes, cooking, and servicing other guests. Besides directly helping people in need, our second mission is to connect people and taught them that we are all equal.

Vision: We are trying to solve the problem of poverty and the number of workless people in the world. Also, we are all gifted with people with Down syndrome, but a lot of people and companies don't recognize their potential. Our restaurant will hire them, and like that, we want to show other companies and restaurants that they are also in the ability to work just as all of us are. We will promote other little companies by buying their food and products; and recycling by having no plastic and non-recyclable things in our restaurant. Having a garden on the top of our building will help us with home-planted vegetables and fruits. We want to promote recycling because we think it is very important to teach people about one of the biggest problems these days.

Main activities: Our Social Enterprise offers delicious meals in a sustainable and eco-friendly environment. What’s better than enjoying a savory dinner, sustainable and comfortable surroundings, and helping the poor, homeless and hungry at the same time? Our polite and professional staff are also here… They’re diverse people who are usually discriminated against and at a disadvantage in these jobs (people with Down Syndrome, etc.), and they’re also the soul of our SE. Getting dinner in our restaurant may be a bit more expensive than in other restaurants, but with that “extra” money, we’re going to provide the homeless with a warm meal. The restaurant also supports and hosts a culinary competition! Volunteers and our cooks are cooking for joy, twice a month, and the judges are – the homeless. We’re taking applications for volunteers for the competition.

“INNOVATEX & FRIENDS”

Established by: Ekaterina Stojanovska, Viktorija Popovska, Milijana Stojanovic, Nevena Mitevski, Mia Čučak, Dafne Atanasova, Sara Andonovska, Veronika Blazhevska and Sara Burneska

Mission: Our mission is involving kids with disabilities and kids from correctional facilities along with canvases and textile materials that were failures in the workshops and to the artists. We are planning on reusing the textiles by creating original bags, hats, cases, tapestries, kid’s tents and curtains, and re-designing old bags and textile products. The kids from the facilities will help us design our products which will be later sold on the market, with lots of advertising on social media, we will make offers aiming to good causes and charities, for example: for every bought designed bag with an original idea we will donate one bag to charity.

Vision: The idea for our company comes from a social and economic problem but, behind that there’s a very heartfelt meaning to our company. Kids with special needs are nowadays left out from the social world and we want to make it our priority to include them in the huge positives that come within our business, as well as make them a part of our team, a team of friends, all in all a family.

Main activities: Kids with special needs are nowadays left out from the social world. Failed canvases and textiles from the factories and workshops are going to waste instead of getting a second chance.

  • We want to become friendly and let the kids from the facilities know that everyone has their own value no matter what, that they can contribute to the society even more than others.

  • We want to lead these kids and awaken the creative artist inside each of them and let their pure souls be painted all over a piece of canvas with one color – the color of love.

  • We want to be original with our products, each of it with different design made by these kids’ hands.

  • We want to minimize textile waste and start reusing it.

  • We want to involve everyone in this project, convince people that this is a good cause and invest in upgrading.

  • We want to give funds to other people with needs and make everyone happy.
